Activate and establish a new Dynamics 365 Business Central environment
Create one Company with Dynamics 365 Business Central’s default settings and “fixed” Chart of Account
Spark365’s guides will show you how to:
Set up a Test Company Environment (if desired)
Set up a User Account
Set up your Chart of Accounts
Fill out data templates with your company’s vendors, customers and items master
Upload this master data into the new system
Spark365 will provide you with:
A data template (Excel) that makes it easy to fill in your company’s data (vendor, customer and item master) for importing into your new system
A blank “Beginning Balance” templates (Excel) to migrate all your current systems data (Open AR, Open AP, GL Balance, Inventory Balance, Bank Balance, and Fixed Asset)
This day is allocated for you to complete some of the tasks introduced to you the day before.
By the end of this day, you will have:
Created your Test Company Environment, if desired
Set up your Chart of Accounts
Filled out the data templates with your vendor, customer and item master data
Filled out your “Beginning Balance” data templates
In the meantime, Spark365 will:
Integrate your BC system with Office 365 Email (if you have an existing Office 365 account)
Provide you with assistance on setting up your user accounts if needed.
Assign security roles to your new system, using Dynamics 365 Business Central default settings
Add your company logo to transactional reports (quote, order, invoice, purchase order)
Spark365 will provide live training on how to:
Upload Beginning Balance Data to the new system
Generate financial reports
Generate financial statements - B/S, P/L, Basic Budget (Pre-defined system COA basis)
Spark365 will provide you with:
A curriculum of training video links so you can learn how to use your new BC system at your own pace/time
This day is allocated for you to complete the tasks that Spark365 trained you on yesterday.
By the end of this day, you will have:
Uploaded your master data into the new system
Uploaded your Beginning Balance Data to the new system
Tested the system
You and Spark365 will make any final needed adjustments.
